Hi Bro, Thanks for the timely post, at least for me. I have encore time wondered about the transition, but somehow did not dare, because the information I came across very controversial. But today, after reading your article I’m very confident to take up any challenges.
I am unable to open any form in Oracle r12 within HRMS responsibility. Getting this error " Your business group does not match with your security profile." I checked the system profile options from system administration responsibility and it appears to be the same (as mentioned below). These profile options are enabled at responsibility level.
Responsibility Name: HRMS manager, vision university
1. Profile Option: HR: Business Group Business Group: Vision University
2. Profile Option: HR: Security Profile Business Group: Vision University
3. Profile Option: MO: Security Profile Business Group: Vision University
Even if I try to create a new business group, I am unable to open the form as the above error appears. Does anybody has a solution to it. A timely response will be highly appreciated. Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated. Regards, Mahesh

I tested on the above scenario and could see that when you are trying to change the assignment number on the very first record for an assignment id, Oracle API is synchronizing the assignment number for all records for that assignment id and hence the object version number as well the assignment number is getting changed.
However if you just try to change the ass_Attribute1 it just changes the object version number of first record and dont change anything on the next record.
You try the same at your end after commenting assignment number parameter and uncommenting p_ass_attribute1 in the api call.
Result at my end while just changing ass_attribute1

You may go ahead with Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud 2017 Implementation Essentials (1Z0-965) if you want to be a functional consultant. Expectations from a functional consultant is that he/she should know all the implementation steps and this certificate validates the same.
You would need to buy a certification voucher first and then you can schedule your exam with Pearson Vue exam centre. Please check the below link for exam details and topics from which the questions would be coming. You might need to register on Oracle site if the below link does not work.

There is a scenario, our company buys employee insurance plan for the whole group thereby incorporating Employee as well as their dependents in that employee insurance plan. Now we have got HRMS implemented along with the license of Advance Benefits.
Now I wanted to know is there any standard way to cater Employee Insurance within the system, so that we can cater coverage of employees and their dependents according to eligible criteria, followed by the maintenance of Insurance Premiums and their Insurance Coverage amount? Say for example if a person dies his dependents/beneficiaries will be entitled for a coverage amount of $100,000.
If there is any documentations or any relevant material that anyone can share that how can complete the whole process in kindly share, it will be a relief for me. I started using Workday tutorial blog for my training practice.

We have locations defined as part of workday certification these are marked as "Legal address" in HRMS Location form.What is the downstream/upstream impact if I choose a different ship-to location (previously defined) for this location in the shipping tab. I also wish to uncheck Receiving Site. I do not want to use this location in a Purchase Order, but don't want to cause any issues in any other process as part of the configuration. Excellent tutorials - very easy to understand with all the details. I hope you will continue to provide more such tutorials.

I am applying a leave.
From : 21-Jan-2013 to : 22-Jan-2013
when i pressed calculate duration based on Fast formula it is giving absence days as '2'.
Now i am changing the absence days to '6' manually. System is allowing this scenario with just warning message instead of error. can any one give justification why allows this scenario. if i want to stop this how to proceed. workday certification
